Dark Horse Cocktail Dinner

Bottle Cellars is south St. Louis County’s premier wine retailer, offering affordable small production and hand crafted wines from all around the world in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.  Our friendly and professional staff has intimate knowledge of every wine in the store, and is happy to help you find the perfect bottle for any occasion.  In addition to wine, we sell fine whiskeys, craft beers, wine accessories, stemware, hand-painted glassware, and chocolate.

Wine is meant to be enjoyed, and we believe that should include your shopping experience.  Which is why we work hard at taking the guesswork out of selecting a bottle by breaking down the intimidating walls associated with wine.  We provide detailed information, tasting notes, and food pairing recommendations for each bottle we sell, plus there is always a friendly face nearby to offer assistance if you need.

Every Saturday from 2-5pm we offer tastings of selected wines, whiskeys, or beers.  Plus, the store is available to host groups of 12-40 for private events or tastings after regular business hours.  Past events and parties have included bridal showers, birthday parties, school fundraisers, etc.

Cellar House is our companion wine bar located next door to Bottle Cellars where we offer over 20 wines by the taste, glass, or flight.  If you prefer a bottle of wine, simply choose from any of the 280 bottles on the shelf at Bottle Cellars and pay just retail + $10 to enjoy the bottle in the bar.  In addition to wine we have a continually rotating selection of 5 beers on draught with another 24 in bottle or can, offer a seasonal cocktail menu consisting of 8 classic and 8 house cocktails, and have a full spirit list with over 45 whiskeys.  The bar is open until 12am Tuesday to Thursday and until 1am on Friday and Saturday.

Our kitchen serves farm to fork foods meant for sharing until 9pm Tuesday to Thursday and until 10pm on Friday and Saturdays.  We proudly source from local organic farms and suppliers when at all possible, including Eat Here STL, Rain Crow Ranch, Todd Geisert’s Farm, Salume Beddu, and Ludwig Farmstead Creamery to name a few.
